San Antonio Goodwill Exec Takes Helm of Goodwill Industries International Board of Directors

Rockville, MD — Bob Dugas of San Antonio, TX, a 20-year veteran in the Goodwill Industries movement, has been elected chairman of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries International. Dugas took office on June 24 during Goodwill’s annual Delegate Assembly held in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dugas is currently President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of San Antonio and has served in that capacity since 1996. His career with Goodwill Industries also includes CEO positions in Southern New Jersey and Mobile, AL. At the national level, he most recently served as Vice Chair of the Goodwill Industries International Board of Directors and Chair of its Strategic Planning Committee.

Before joining Goodwill Industries in 1987, Dugas worked in the airline industry for People Express. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University in 1981 and completed the Goodwill Industries of America Executive Training program in 1990.
